What exactly is MyPointLeague?
MPL is a season-long points game played in private leagues -- available across pro and college sports. Every week you pick one team. If your team wins, you score their final point total. No one is eliminated -- you play the full season and the highest total wins. NFL is live now. College Football, NBA, NHL, and MLB are coming soon.
What sports does MyPointLeague support?
NFL is live now for the 2026 season. College Football, NBA, NHL, and MLB are coming soon -- each becomes available as its season approaches. When College Football launches, commissioners will select a conference and players pick from that conference's teams each week.
How is this different from fantasy football?
Fantasy requires drafting a full roster, setting weekly lineups, managing injuries and waivers, and hours of research. MPL is one pick per week. No rosters, no trades, no lineup stress. You can learn the whole game in two minutes.
How is this different from a survivor pool?
In survivor, one wrong pick eliminates you entirely. In MPL, one bad week just costs you points -- you keep playing all 18 weeks. There are no eliminations ever.
How is scoring calculated?
When you pick a team and they win, you earn their final score as your points for the week. Pick the Lions, they win 28 to 7 -- you earn 28 points. If your team loses, you earn zero. It is that simple.
What is the one-team rule?
Each player can only pick any given team once per season. All teams are available at the start (32 for NFL). Once you pick the Chiefs in Week 3, the Chiefs are locked for you for the rest of the season. This is the core strategic element of the game and applies to every league and every sport.
Picks and Deadlines
When is the weekly deadline?
The deadline is before the first game of the week kicks off. Usually that is Thursday evening if there is a Thursday Night Football game, or Sunday morning if the week opens on Sunday. The pick screen shows a live countdown timer.
What happens if I miss the deadline?
You receive 0 points for the week. The missed week does not use up a team slot -- all your remaining teams stay available. Some leagues have stricter missed pick rules (like an automatic loss); check your commissioner's settings.
Can I change my pick after submitting?
Only if your commissioner has enabled pick changes for your league. If changes are allowed, you can update your pick any time before the weekly deadline. If they are not allowed, your first submission is final.
What if my team is on a bye week?
Bye-week teams are automatically hidden from your pick grid that week. You can only pick teams that are playing. If you already used most teams, bye weeks can make your decisions trickier later in the season.
What happens if a game is postponed?
If a game is postponed to a later date, your pick carries over automatically. You do not need to do anything. If a game is cancelled entirely, no points are awarded and the team is returned to your available pool.
Leagues and Commissioners
How do I create a league?
Sign up, click Create a League, and walk through the setup wizard. It takes about 3 minutes. You will get an invite code and shareable link to send to your players.
How do players join?
Players create a free account, then enter your invite code or click your invite link. No payment required from players -- ever.
Can I be in more than one league?
Yes. Players can join unlimited leagues simultaneously. Each league has its own independent standings and pick history. Picks in one league never affect another.
When does the league roster lock?
The roster locks the moment the first game of your league's start week kicks off. After that, no new players can join for any reason. Make sure everyone has joined before kickoff.
Can the commissioner change settings mid-season?
No. Commissioner settings (pick changes, missed pick rule, tied game rule) are locked the moment the league is activated. This protects fairness for all players.
Account and Privacy
Can other players see my pick before the deadline?
No. All picks are hidden until the weekly deadline passes. After the deadline, everyone's picks for that week are revealed at once. Historical picks are always visible in the pick history view.
Do I need to download an app?
No. MyPointLeague is a mobile-optimized web app. Open it in your phone's browser and it works like a native app -- no download, no app store.
Is my information shared with anyone?
No. Your email and account information are used only to operate the game. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from your Account settings page. All your data is removed permanently.
